I think it definitely would. Crowded multiplayer games end up being contests strictly of speed and luck (Mostly luck, unless one of the two players on the side of the map with the exit is really slow). Things would balance out over the course of many, many maps, but as evidenced for my compulsion to dig as long and complex a trench as I possibly can, I like to spend a little more time on each level. |
