The full game has been released. If you purchased the game previously, to get the latest version login to:
byond://Deadron.DragonSnot
Then in the game use the 'personal copy' command to download the latest. You won't be asked to pay if you've paid before.
Here are the changes since the last Beta version:
- The speed bonus has been changed to be exponential. It works like this: There is a maximum speed bonus of 300%. The speeds between the minimum game speed and the fastest possible speed provide bonuses which start small and get exponentially higher until 300% is reached at the fastest possible speed. (Leftley)
- The forum now comes up automatically when you login, unless you change the preference setting.
- The game is automatically hosted when you run it on your computer, unless you change the preference setting.
- The demo server version of the game will only play the first half (5 maps) of the game. After that, your game is ended and you restart at the first map.
- The price for purchasing the full game is now $2.
Our main focus is now Living & Dead, but that doesn't mean that DragonSnot development is done by any means. Every few weeks we will be adding something new...bug fixes of course (the caves need some work I think), and new multiplayer features and such.
When the upcoming BYOND subscription system arrives, we'll start publicizing the game. If you have any ideas for how to get potential players to find out about it, let us know!
